NFL

I told Joe that I was going to make this post yesterday just to start a fight.......To hell with the NFL. The entire season could have been lost to a lockout and I wouldn't have cared one bit. The whole thing is over a bunch of billionaires & millionaires fighting about more money than 98% of people will never be able to dream about. You damn near have to take out a second mortgage on your house to attend a game. If it weren't for gambling, the NFL would serve no purpose whatsoever for me. And hell, now that I don't live in Vegas anymore the gambling isn't that fun. Guess it just boils down to being sick and tired of spoiled rich people fighting over money and then trying to plead their case to the public. Like I really give a shit if Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady or anyone else ever makes another damn dollar. Give me college sports where the athletes don't get paid a dime any day of the weeek. Wait....did I just say that?

  1. the NFL is a multi BILLION dollar organization with 32 owners and over 1,600 players.. not to mention GMs, Scouts, Trainers, etc... This isn't a pick up flag football game where everyone goes home a winner, dude. When negotiations are taking place while dealing with these kinds of money... it's going to look ugly, greedy, etc.. But I couldn't be happier that we have the greatest football players on earth reporting back to their respective camps.

  2. Those billionaires and millionaires represent my ability to sit on my ass all day long on Sundays with no question from the ole lady. It just goes without saying. "Matt will not be cutting the grass today because it's NFL Sunday." Combine this with Fantasy Football and Gambling, not to mention a no questions asked getting drunk on sundays policy, and it's the best fucking thing since sliced bread. A lock out would have ruined my Fall/Winter weekends.

  3. No one and especially not me give two fucks about your Fall / Winter weekends Trees. But, we will never see eye to eye on this one.

Joe, it doesn't just look greedy....it is greedy. And who the fuck said that everyone had to go home a winner? If anything, I got ear raped for the past several months listening to both sides try to justify why they needed more money. Can you honestly say that you think the owners OR players need more at this point? Shut the fuck up and play. Don't bring your weak ass shit to the general public and expect to get any sympathy.

  5. he danced in a drag show.. got hooked on crack real bad and started turnin tricks.. he was arrested on july 8th 2006 for prostitution and thats when he went to rehab.. he still has a hard to with bowel movements because of all the ass poundings he took. the only thing that he was successful at out there is gambling and thats because he was receiving my 'COD LOCKS'

  6. Back then "COD LOCKS" should have been called "BET THE FUCKING OPPOSITE OF WHATEVER SCHELL SAYS". Well, that is actually still true today. I think in another post you said you are staying at the Mandalay? Try to get up to the Foundation Room if you can. Sick view of the entire strip. Very laid back bar/lounge with good appetizers and decent drink prices. The casinos are all pretty much the same man. I used to like heading down to Old Vegas. Real cool atmosphere and you can gamble at all the old casinos where the legends played. The Rio has an awesome roof top club - Voodoo Lounge. Lines aren't ever too long, cover charge is low and it doesn't get as much of the tourist crowd because it is off the strip. Short cab ride from Mandalay. You definitely want to hit The Palms pool during the day if you can. The finest tail in Vegas is always there. It has been a few years since I lived there and quite a few new places have opened up. City Center is the new big development down on the strip. Never got to go there, but would be worth checking out. Hope some of that helps.

  7. Sounds good, I usually go to Vegas at least once every 1-2 years. Its been about 2 years since we were there. Have stayed at NYNY, Mandalay Bay and Planet Hollywood in the past. I plan on hitting up some poker tournaments at the Aria b/c they have good structures and not just an all-in fest. Doubt the wifey would want me going to the palms pool to check out all the ass. Guess I'll just have to look at what is walking around the Mandalay Bay pool. I set up a Twitter account and will definitely try and give chip updates during w/e tournament I am playing. Can't wait to get to the desert. What did you do when you lived out there? Gamble for a living? Job?

  8. Work. I work for VCC (general contractor) and we were building a retail / office development in Summerlin right next to the Red Rock Casino. That is actually my favorite casino. It doesn't get all smoked out and it real clean. Anyway, gambling was just something to mess around with. Did pretty good at the sports book and blackjack tables. Roulette was my favorite though. There is nothing like putting a hundo down on red or black and just letting it ride. Plus, it is instant gratification. I am planning on getting out there sometime this football season. Have you been to Aria before?

  9. No, it just opened up last year. I really wanted to stay there for this trip but Rene' actually has a conference for work and its at the Mandalay Bay, so we chose to stay there. I always put a hundy on Red right when I get to the casino. So Tuesday night, it'll be hundo on red. If I win, go straight to Craps table and put $25 on the pass line and back it up with $75 odds. From there, who knows.

  10. I always put it on black. (insert joke about me loving black cock from Joe here) Well, have a blast man. I really enjoyed living out there. Believe it or not there is a lot to do outside of the casinos. Have you ever ventured out to Red Rock Canyon? Cool place.

  11. Never made it to Red Rock Canyon. As I know there are a lot of other things to do in Vegas, I'm of the thinking "Why really did I come to Vegas?" And the answer is always "To fucking gamble" I'm an addict when it comes to gambling. 75% of the time I'm there (including the time I'm sleeping) will be spent gambling in some form or fashion.

  12. Very true. That is the biggest difference in living there and visiting. After a while, it just got old to spend all of my time in the casinos. But now, I would like nothing more than to go on a 24 hr bender.
