I saw this pic today on another site and it got me to thinking. Ok Auburn fans/Pepper. Forgive me for not knowing, but what record did Dyer break that Bo had? Rushing yards by Freshman? I don't give a shit if he destroyed it. No way he comes close to the type of back Bo was.
Yeah it was the Freshman rushing record. Dyer is good and will get even but he is a completely different situation than Bo was. You can never say never but I doubt very seriously he will ever come close to Bo. Although 859 yards on 137 carries as a freshman is not to shabby Lattimore has only 105 more yards on 65 more carries.
ReplyDeleteLattimore is also doing it from a pro set without Cam Newton attracting all the attention. You are not really comparing apples to apples there, surely you know that.
ReplyDeleteIt is not exactly the same of course not. But I still think you can compare RB's to RB's. You could also say that AU doesn't have Alshon Jeffrey or Stephen Garcia to keep the safeties and corners backed up like they are for Lattimore.
