Poll update

Maybe this was a bad idea…  I just got Culpepper’s top 10 and I’m starting to think that maybe we will never be able to all agree on a Top 5 let alone top 25.  He agrees with 1 and 2 but then he goes - 3)Boise St; 4)VT; 5)Iowa; 6) TCU; 7) UNC; 8) Stanford; 9) Texas; 10) Florida 11) Arkansas

His thoughts on Florida are very interesting.  How much offense did Cooper, Tebow, and Hernadez account for?  HUGE!!

Reese wants Florida ahead of Virginia Tech but it looks like VT is going to jump ahead of them based on majority rules.

1) Bama

2) Ohio St

3) Boise St

4) Virginia Tech

5) Texas

Tell me to go to hell but this is looking like what its going to be.

Lets start working on 6 through 10

  2. OU lost a ton of talent dude. What are you thoughts on TCU and UNC?

  3. So did Bama and Texas.

Landry Jones came on strong and Demarco Murray is a helluva running back.

TCU lost a few on D which is what made them.

UNC is always hyped up and for good reason with a D but they can't decide on a QB. A senior or a RS Freshman. They have problems on that side of the ball. They need to win on the field and not paper.

  5. Reese Oklahoma, Florida, and Texas are all in the same boat they have new QBs and their old QBs were all Heisman winners o candiates more than once. Belive it or not at some schools the QB position is more complicated than keep or pitch.

    As for UNC

Defense can win you win you a championship without a great QB ask Alabama which is why UNC will win the ACC.

It is preseason no one has won anything on the field yet it is all on paper

USC has a returning QB most of their defense and their offense will not change either them or Stanford will win the Pac 10 with one loss of them should be in the top 10

  6. For all of you puting Oregon in the top 10 how many of you can name their QB without using Google. I am assuming only the ones of you who googled it two days ago.

  7. UNC was supposed to have been good the past 3 years.

    USC will be tough.

I don't know the Oregon qb but do remember him when he got hurt a couple of years back.

Landry Jones played all but what 1 1/2 games last year? OU will be great.

UNC will not win the ACC.

  8. Oregon as with most of my Top 10 was placed in the top 10 b/c of a weak conference. I think they will find a QB that can hand off and be good enough throwing the ball to win the PAC 10. Don't think they'll win it all, but they'll be conference champs.
