Gruden to Dawgs???
A hunting buddy of mine has some inside info(cousin is in the UGA athletice dept) that Gruden was contacted at some point this season to inquire about his interest of the UGA job. Gruden told them to get back with him after the season. Not saying this is true, but what if it comes to happen?

The same John Gurden that said Tim Tebow would be a better NFL QB than Sam Bradford?
ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost, no one in the AD dept contacted him because the University of Georgia has a coach. The Dawgs don't do things like Auburn and go behind the coaches back and "gage" interest.
I've always liked Saint Richt, because I used to love his offenses at FSU. The man knows his X's and O's but he's gotten too lazy to even take control of that. Even if you don't like PJ and think his offense is a joke, at least he does what he does best to help the team out.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Richt has become a pussy when it comes to discipline. He goes all commando on a scout team member, but won't do a damn thing other than a slap on the wrist for a "star" of the team. He needs to grab the reigns of the offense and start bitch slapping these thugs that can't stay out of trouble or you bring in Chuckie.
Hey Joe, let me help you down off of your high horse. You are right UGA DOESN'T do things like Auburn. They DON'T try to recruit players that have good character. They DON'T set examples for those kids they just let the cops deal with them. They DON'T make players earn their way back on the team after suspensions. And they WILL run Mark Richt out of town on a rail instead of protesting all through the campus like AU did for Tubbs.
ReplyDeleteChuckie needs to go to the Cowboys, yesterday.
ReplyDeleteIt was a freaking unpaid speeding ticket. Should we throw a guy off the team and out of school for that Reese? The other guy who wasn't a scout teamer, he was a 4 star freshman being redshirted got a DUI. I think a 2 game suspension is pretty harsh for the offense, but for all the trouble the team has been in, its just.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that he didn't pay a fine. Hell we do that all the time. Fuck it, I don't feel like paying for it. Then I won't go to traffic court just because I don't won't to or I'm above that. That's not the point, these kids don't have any sort of self responsibility to them what so ever. There again they get treated like superstars from middle school on, I can't say I blame them for acting like animals and thinking they are above the law.......that's just how the've been treated for the past 7 or 8 years. That's the dice you roll with these 4 and 5 star recruits. GT doesn't get any or rarely does so I don't worry about that. Now let's get back on topic. Would you trade Richt for Gruden right now? It's a yes or no answer.
ReplyDeleteYou answer the question, would you kick a guy off the team and out of school for the offense committed? Honestly, I'd love Gruden, but I'm also OK with Richt.
