Audrey Lynn and some other stuff

Thanks Reese for posting the pic.  I got more.  And I really don’t care if you bastards don’t care anymore, I’m pretty sure that if this wasn’t my child that I would have lost interest by now also.   but it is my child, and I do have access to the blog so here is an update.  149238_1730795115432_1405137924_31871959_3695022_n

Audrey was born at 7:01 central time this morning and was healthy and everything went perfect.  Traci is doing great and we are already settled in.  Parker and Rachel have both loved on her and the baby hasn’t really cried yet.  I mean a little of your typical shit when we put her down but all and all this is looking to be another great baby.  I’ll put up some video a little later after some people clear out.

Tomorrow night Prince James is going back to Cleveland and I look forward to seeing some of the worst fans in all of sports (next to philly) greet him back.  should be some good greetings.  and even better posters.

The Duke game I mentioned yesterday that was coming on “tonight” wasn’t last night, it is tonight.  They play Michigan State and it will probably be a doozie.  K and Izz are head and shoulders above everyone else in college basketball as my 2 favorite coaches and I look forward to them meeting tonight.

FSU got spanked last night by Ohio state in Tallahassee.  the Noles typically play pretty good b ball at home, i don’t know if they are bad or if Ohio St is going to move right on after Evans departure.

I am going to try and work on a post about Mike Vick.  I just read a really good article about him in SI and it said alot of stuff that I had been really hoping for.  I think he has potential to be really good story and I want to share some of the things that I think some of you guys would like also.

finebaum just tweeted that Auburn has been cleared in the Newton deal.  I don’t know to what extent but would love for Pepper to share some things – I know he is following it very closely.

  2. Looking good Joe. Well, everything except that dern UGA windbreaker. I will let that slide though being that you welcomed a beautiful daughter into the world today.

My wife is from Cleveland so the Pulley household will be watching the Cav - Heat game for sure. Don't know how many of you actually know a real Cleveland fan, but it can be one of the most depressing things in the world to watch a sporting event with them. No matter how well they are playing they always expect the worst. John can probably relate to this from his many years of being a UGA fan, but I digress. When the now infamous "Decision" was made my wife was so depressed that I didn't get laid for a week. But now every time the Heat lose its like a porn set. This trade has worked out amazingly for this guy.

I am trying to think of something obnoxious to post about Alabama because all of my posts seem to be colored in crimson. Hmm......nope, nothing. I am curious to know more about the "Breaking News" on Cam Newton. Saw it today while having lunch but there was no volume in the restaurant. Don't you hate when that happens?

Congrats again Joe. GFY again John. Auburn needs to win out. UGA sucks. Alabama is god.

  3. The NCAA said that Cam was guilty of breaking amateurism rules and was ruled ineligible on Monday by the NCAA. In the past several NCAA attorneys have said that if the player is not proven to have knowledge there is usually not a penalty. That being said AU applied for reinstatement on Tuesday and he we reinstated today. CLEARED!!!! His punishment was being ineligible for 8 hours.

  4. If that is right, good for him. But it sounds like in the article on ESPN that the investigation isn't completely closed. Did you read it that way? Also, I have some comments on the Bama - Auburn game, but as I have stated previously I don't want to slight or cheapen the Auburn victory. In the end, a win is a win no matter how I or anyone else sees it.

  5. There is a lot of paperwork to end and investigation and a lot of legal "mumbo jumbo" if you will. For that reason the player is usually reinstated before the investigation is wrapped up I am not saying that they can't ever revisit it, but believe me the NCAA is not in the business of reinstating people if there is ANY doubt in their mind on the current situation.

If I were you I would have some comments too like FUCK, SHIT, DAMN, and JESUS CHRIST!

Let me guess the 2 best RBs in the world shouldn't have fumbled and caught a TD pass your probably right but they didn't and that is why you finished 4th in the SEC west. Nice season!

  6. Yeah I doubt the NCAA would want to have egg all over their face if they later had to suspend him or declare him ineligible.

All of the comments you mentioned were definitely stated before, during and after the game.

I have never - EVER - stated that Richardson and Ingram are the two best RB's in the world. Kind of thought you would give me a little more credit than that Pepper. Guess you have been sipping from the same cup as John. My comments are as follows: That wasn't a win, it was a gift. You know as well as I do that Auburn didn't deserve to win that game. But, as I said the night of the game, it cheapens it all to say that. Bottom line is that Alabama didn't deserve to win that game, but neither did Auburn. Anyway, luck has to be on your side and the breaks have to go your way to go undefeated in college football. Alabama had several last year, Florida had then during their run and Auburn has had a few this year. The trick now is to finish it. SC will be a tough game. It would be a shame to get caught looking ahead.
