Tech

Pepper and I were discussing Georgia Tech’s triple option and if we thought RO was just being a dedicated fan by trying to justify thinking PJ was the man..

Let me be clear here.  I love PJ.  And I am on the fence on whether Tech NEEDS to run the triple option because it is so much harder for them to get the kind of talent to compete with the FSU’s, Virginia Tech’s etc…

Tech is with in 2 1/2 hours from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, and South Carolina.  and Tech nerds claim how much more difficult it is to get in the all mighty Georgia Tech than the other schools I mentioned.  That us ‘football schools’ drop our standards to get some of the 5* guys..

So you could make a decent argument that the Triple option is a equalizer for teams that don’t have as much talent as their opponent.

BUT I would like to ask the whiny little dungeons and dragon loving little dick 22 year old 1600 SAT scoring virgins of Georgia Tech to please watch and listen to this guy.

What was his major?  Civil Engineering?  If Tech can get this guy in school… Then I don’t want to hear the ‘poor me we have higher standards’ talk.

  2. Starbury. Joe, you claim to run into a bunch of nerdy tech fans that bitch about Tech being harder to get into. How many times have you ever heard me say that? All GT needs is a QB that can run and pass accurately. That's all. He's on campus, but is a true freshman. Now that we have someone that's somewhat knows what the hell is going on on the defensive side of the ball it should be a better team overall.

  3. And stop spraying BS about Tech fans. You only know two. Me and Griggs.

  4. Reese you are missing the point. If he could run AND throw accurately he is already at AU, VT, UF, LSU, or a number of other spread schools. The fact that he is at Tech just means he can run.

  5. He's the QB.

  6. He is the 26th best player in the state of NC who typically has 5 good players every year. But I guess for Tech that could still be a step up.

  7. Oh also I just looked he had an offer from one SEC school and none of the three most prominent ACC schools offered. Like I said if he were that good he wouldn't be at Tech.

  8. And we all need to remember that, even though you are 17 years old, you better not commit to Tech if you want to enjoy any of the recruiting process. Because you might get your offer pulled.

  9. Oh yeah. I forgot that PJ was such a stand up guy he only recruits players that have committed to other schools, he just doesn't let other people recruit his.

  10. and that is so typical Tech. They think so high of themselves and try to justify lack of talent with high standards. But how do you justify bot being able to sell out 45,000?

  11. I'll be the first to tell you I am a sidewalk GT fan. Meaning I didn't go to GT.
I would be willing to be a lot of money that 85-90% of the people that fill up bama, UGA, or Auburn are sidewalk fans. I would also be willing to bet that Bobby Dodd stadium has a way higher % of actual alumns that are in the stadium. As PJ says, "It is what it is".

Also for you better than GT fans, ask yourself if your coach could do a better job at Tech and be honest. Could CMR, Saban, or The Chiz do better than the hand CPJ was delt on The Flats?
