OK guys, with the Masters a little over a week away I want to see some picks. I know half of you jack dicks will automatically say Tiger or Phil, but let's try something different. Give me 2 golfers not named Tiger or Phil that you think have a great chance to win and give me 1 older past champion that you think has a chance to be in the hunt. Do your research and bring it.

ReplyDelete1)Bubba Watson - Long hitter with a good putter. Seems like Augusta fits well for lefthanded golfers with Mickelson and Weir recent past champions.
2)Dustin Johnson - He's a southern boy that is going to break out somewhere this year. He can hit it long and I feel that Augusta may be where he breaks thru.
Past Champion - Olazabel always plays good in Augusta, but I'm going with Freddie Couples. He's been coming around the past two years and still has the game to put him in the hunt.
I'm gonna go with Luke Donald and Paul Casey as favorites.
ReplyDeleteCouples is my "old" guy. He still hit's it past 90% of the players today. If he can get his putts inside 5 ft to drop he'll be there on Sunday afternoon.
