This is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen. Nesbit for heisman? OK, Techies need to put those high SAT scores to better use than creating a marketing campaign with Josh Nesbit as a heisman contender.
Pepper. Reggie Ball took it to Auburn twice. You do remember who he is don't you? The same idiot that threw it out of bounds to stop the clock on 4th down against the Dawgs. If he can beat them, I think Nesbitt would destroy 'burn and Ted Roof's D all day long. Hey, at least you have a thief taking snaps at your school.
1. Yes Reggie Ball did beat us but the only he ever did at Tech congratulations. 2. Thief or no thief at least we understand that a QB is supposed to throw ball even if he is fast. 3. Our run D was not the problem (ask Mark Ingram) we had trouble with the passing game and so do you guys.
Ted Roof is a Tech guy(Black Watch Defense of the 80's) but he sux as a DC. Just ask Lil Joe Hamilton. They could score on anyone, but couldn't stop a pee wee program. You might as well have Joe(our Joe) installing the desert swarm defense/double eagle flex. If Roof stays you'll be just like the GT teams with Little joe at the helm.
I am not sure if you know who Gene Chizik is let me help you DC for AU 2002-2004 undefeated season DC Texas 2005-2006 National Championship if you think Ted Roof is going to be the "DC" this year then you are obviously not aware of why you hire a defensive minded head coach, I know it could be hard to grasp seeing as how you guys have never done that. We had a third string CB and a fourth string linebacker starting at safety due to preseason injuries that is not the case this year.
Chizik's a blow job. We all know the only reason ya'll won any games last year was because of Malzhan(by the way I'm a huge fan of). What happens when he gets a HC job? GC looks like he has no clue what's going on out there. Your best bet would be to fire Roof, demote GC to DC, and make Malzhan the HC. GC's magnetized white limo's are about the only thing he knows how to do well.
