I have a hard time believing that Kirby will leave. This is not due to being a Bama fan either. The University of Alabama stated that they will do WHATEVER it takes to keep him and they have the funds to do so. I believe that he will stay with the talent that he has and maybe look to jump to a head coaching position in the next couple of years.
Some of the sketchy media outlets are saying it is already a done deal. However, the more credible sources have yet to say anything. From what I am hearing, Kirby will be the next DC at UGA under the following conditions... 1)Rodney Garner is not retained to be an assistant coach next year and 2)Something is done with the Strength and Conditioning program. Basically also calling for Van Halanger's head.
