Tonight will be the last sane night I will have until I am back at home Sunday afternoon.  We leave for Wanee Music Festival at the crack of dawn

tomorrow morning.

 

There will be about 15 guys, most of whom are crazy as hell, camping out all weekend and going to see some very quality music.

Something that is on the agenda that I will try to get some good video of – having a fishing pole with a rubber snake on the end and having it across the walkway – when a group of people walk by drag the snake in front of them.  Once the group of people scream then we point and laugh.  Since there will be a huge number of stinky hippies then we may also to use a dollar bill and watch them chase it.    Either way, should get some good responses. 

the people that are going that are on this blog – Rusty, some of you may remember him, he hasn’t been on the blog in a good while but Reese will know him as ‘Vol Ball baby’  and Pepper, who is very active on the blog, will also be attending.  I’m pretty sure that will be the only people that will be representing southern fried.

One of my new favorite golfers........

And no, I'm not talking about Masters Champion Charl Shwartzel. Rory Mcilroy has quickly become one of my favorite golfers to pull for on tour. I usually pull for Americans (especially Tiger and some of the older generation like Couples and Watson) but this guy is what it is all about. Look at how he handled himself after that horrible round. Unreal he is that mature at such a young age. I will be the first to say, I am 34 years old and if I were in that position, there is no way I would handle myself as well as he did.

I never really pulled for Rory before now, but going forward he'll be on my short list of who I want to win. He will win several majors before his clubs are retired and he may be the leader of the new generation of golfers. Hats off to Rory Mcilroy.

On the male side I think it comes down to 3 guys with a 4th making the list just out of respect. 

1st goes to John Holmes in my book.  Everyone knew his name and most have seen him in action.

2nd will go to Peter North.  The oil machine was always was good for at least 5 or 6 strong shots at the end.  He was clean cut and I don’t ever remember him doing any really nasty stuff. 

3rd is Ron Jeremy.  Ron has made a huge name for himself and some would argue that he would be ahead of Pete.

Honorable Mention to Rocco Siffredi, better known as the The Italian Stallion – Rocco was bigger (no pun) than Holmes over seas but in the states he can’t make the top 3.

The Female list was pretty easy for a #1. 

Jenna Jameson is a clear cut #1.  For her looks, her fame, and her career.  She was a power hitter on the scene for over a decade and is still making appearances that bring heavy crowds.

 

#2 is Bambi Woods.  She was a pioneer of her time.  She starred and probably the most well known porn film of all time - ‘Debbi Does Dallas’

 

Tera Patrick makes #3 and probably because she is oriental.  She was ‘Pet of the Year’ runner up before (i think) she began her career as a porn star.

Besides the obvious reason for this selection – 2 other reasons were the wetness of the ass and the ass jewelry.  I have never personally seen ass jewelry before but I think it is a very nice addition to what is already a pretty ass.  It’s hard to imagine that this thing produces poop and gas isn’t it??  the question you need to ask yourself is how close to this ass would you stand knowing that it was about to fart?

Just a couple of things

 

Going into the Final Four Weekend I wanted to touch on a couple of things. 

1. Coach Calipari has never been directly linked to any illegal activities.  I think I look for reasons to hate this guy because he just looks like a sleeze bag…  But the more I read about the bastard the more I hear things about the good shit he does.  I still believe he is dirty but when it comes down to it.. how dirty?  Did he get somebody to help a brother out on a SAT?  or did he get World Wide Wes to cut their parents a check for thousands of dollars.  With the percentage of his kids that do not even go with WWW’s agency and when John Wall signed a HUGE deal with Reebok instead of Nike… well, i guess it got me to thinking.  My buddy DR (you have seen him on here) told me after reading a well written article in SI a couple of weeks ago that I would think differently of Caps.  I read it with an open mind and to be very honest I had already started thinking a little different about him…  Bottom Line is this, the bastard can coach and UK is who I like on that side.
2. Butler’s Coach Brad Stevens is the best young coach in College Basketball.   I can’t get enough of him.  But he does look like the kid that got picked on in High School doesn’t he?  Actually he looks like he could still get picked on.  Prediction:  When Coach K steps down at Duke – The Blue Devils will go in a different direction than a Coach K disciple and hire Brad Stevens.

Tech has it’s man… and it is Brian Gregory.  You know who he is right?  His teams have made the NIT back to back years.  He has made the big dance twice in his career…  He just built a power house at Dayton for Christ Sake – how do you not know who this man is by now? 

Let’s give it to the G. T. though – they shot for the stars when they offered Chris Mooney the job but he obviously felt that the Richmond Spider program was a better choice for him so he signed an extension there.  And this came after Buzz turned them down to stay at Marquette.

I thought Georgia Tech was a premiere job but obviously I was wrong.  I am not saying that this guy isn’t going to be a good coach (see my Chizik prediction) I just thought Tech was a place that would make a splash when they annouced the new Coach.  Hell, I think Mark Fox has a better resume’ than this guy.

I don't know who all follows golf that closely but have any of you ever seen Spencer Levin play? His swing looks like something you'd see at the local muni. I gotta say I like him. He doesn't give a shit. He just goes out and fires at pins. Can the greatest golfer ever (according to some on this board) make a run at him? I doubt it, although he is getting laid again; so watch out.

My boys don't start until Monday. A lot of unanswered questions in the ATL this year. My team is very young across the board, but experienced in certain areas. I'm curious to see what is going on at Bama, UGA, 'Burn, and UT. So what's the word if any?

Comedy Central likes to Roast celebrities and they do a pretty good job at it most of the time.  The reason for it being funny is the roasters more than roastee (not sure if that is a word but pretty sure it isn’t) – Well this Roast was going GREAT!!  Seth Mcfarland (family guy) was the roast master and he was bringing it.  Others, some I had never heard of, were all doing really good.  The show was funny as hell.

‘Jury Still Out’

Mike Hamilton in an radio interview when asked about the status of Bruce Pearl’s status answered with, “The Jury is Still Out”…. 

A lot of noise is being made about this statement and when he said it.   A couple of days before the tourney isn’t best time to say your coach may get shit canned.. but anyone that didn’t know that Pearl’s job wasn’t up in the air is a stupid moron.  Even Pearl ‘knows that’ according to Hamilton.

Here is what this did for Hamilton.  If he would have just giving the typical polically correct answer then when Pearl lost then he could fire him and POSSIBLY save his own job – but not now.  Now when UT loses, especially if its today, then Hamilton will be at fault for placing a huge distraction at a horrible time. 

Bottom Line:  Hamilton will be fired and Fat Phil will be your next AD at the U of T.

I was watching morning drive on the golf channel this morning and they had a good point (which I agreed with) about Tressel self imposing his suspension to 5 games. They were basically saying he self imposed those 3 more games, because he knows the hammer is about to come down and thinks this will lessen the beating he might receive. Could tOSU fire Tressel? I hope they don't. I personally think he is an underachieving sumbitch. I can't imagine what someone with half a brain for offense could do with that talent up in Columbus. Anyway, your thoughts on the matter?

1. One of the things on my Bucket List (that’s something we need to look at doing – a Southern Fried bucket list.   The top 10 things to do before you die – we may want to get to work on this, I doubt some of us have very long) is to attend the Big East Conference Tourney at the Garden.  And this year I am really pumped about watching it to see who is for real in the Big East? 

Danny Sheridan picked the favorite for the National Championship game next year in College football would be Alabama vs. Oklahoma.   Something to chew on a little bit.  It’s not like Sheridan is some fool who throws out stupid shit to get attention.  His reputation is based on his odds.

BYU

Brigham Young University has suspended Brandon Davies for getting some ass. 

BYU has it’s best chance to compete for a National Title this year more than any other year that I can remember. 

Davies was the 3rd leading scorer and leading rebounder.  He is a HUGE part of this team and with out him it would almost be impossible for BYU to make a run in the Dance.

Couple of Questions I have.

1) Is it against the code to masturbate?

2) How would you feel as a student/fan of BYU about the decision to suspend him? 

3) How boring must campus life be there?

4) Did you know that coffee is also against the code?

I got to give it to BYU administration here.  I think they showed that there values are worth more to them than a possible championship and this act should be recognized as such. 

I applauded BYU and thank God that I am not a Mormon fan.
