Picks o the week!!
Me so hony: Take the over Air Force/ND 56
Look at this tarheel bubble: Go UNC -13.5 vs Louiseville. UNC will shut down any chance Louey has to score.
Dem Jackets -14.5 vs MD. The O is purring like a Porshe. CPJ doesn't like Edsall from a previous meeting when PJ was at Navy his first year. Apprently after UConn beat Navy the coaches met at midfield where Edsall said don't worry I won't tell anyone how to stop your O. PJ beat the piss outta him the next time and has a long memory. Fatten your Wallet
Bosie St -21.5
Make it a SUPER COD LOCK because I am board too. The Broncos are way too much for the valley kids. I also like the over in this game.
Oklahoma -10.5
I can't imagine how well Bob Stoops is using thae fact that the Boomer Sooners have dropped from 1st to 3rd without losing a game to motivate these guys. While Mack Brown is busy playing the QB shuffle Landry and Co. will be raining points from the sky
Maryland -15
If this game drops below 2 TDs run like hell. Maryland's O will be the best GT has played all year and Maryland has put up points against better D's than Tech. I think Maryland is better than NC ST and almost as good as NC. Even if Tech gets up big early you should he ok with a back door cover courtesy of Al Groh.
Book it now pick: FSU -10.5*
That asterik is for EJ Manuel who heard would probably play this week. IF he does throw your 401k on this one. If he doesn't I still like it but just enough to throw a quarter on it.
Cod Locks
Starting tonight.
Boise State laying 3 TD’s. Kellen Moore looked like shit last week and he will not make that same mistake twice. He got sacked for the first time all year and the Line is pissed! Bosie State Skull Fucks Fresno Tonight. Mark It Down!!
UCLA ran into a RED HOT Andrew Luck last weekend and I believe they bounce back with a win over a SHIT Tay Washington State team. UCLA –3 1/2.
West Virginia is finally healthy after getting bitched slapped and prison raped by LSU. DH is putting up points trying to make the case that WVU is the real mother fuckin deal and should be getting considered for the SEC. He has the full support of the Admin and they lay beat down on UCONN. WVU –19 1/2
Slay your Bookie Picks......
#1 - Boise State -20.5
The Broncos should manhandle Pat Hill's boys from Fresno State tonight on the west coast. Ole Miss just beat Fresno and scored at will against them. This one will probably get ugly, so take the Smurfs.
#2 - UGA -2
What kind of Cod Lock post would this be if I didn't include the Dawgs. If my version of the top SEC teams is correct, this should be a win. I think it will be a close game early, with the Dawgs winning by 10-19 points by the end of the game.
#3 - Syracuse -10
The cuse is a better team than they were 2-3 years ago and they are up against a bad Tulane team who has lost consecutive games to Duke and Army. Both of those games were not even close. Take the Orangemen here for an easy cover.
And now ladies and gentleman, the pick that should cost you $100/person, I give for free. That's right the DAGGER PICK. If you want to pick up some disposable income, then put your money on this pick. You can thank me later by buying and grilling me a nice steak and putting plenty of beers in my belly free of charge. Here we go....
Take the Arizona Wildcats -2 vs. Oregon State. Both teams come in with losing records, (1-4) and (0-4) respectively. But listen to the last four opponents AZ has played...Oklahoma St., Stanford, Oregon, USC. You think they are gonna feel like this team they are battling Saturday hits as hard, runs as fast as those teams? Nick Foles (AZ QB) is really throwing the ball around and Mike Stoops will get his team to play hard and win this game, period. Take the Wildcats and make it a great Saturday. (Warning - Dagger Pick's all time record 0-1.)

Best coach in the biz..................
Just think, he kicked Joe off the sidelines at Southern, according to Joe. That should make him awesome in each of your eyes. You shitheads that said he was only winning because of Chan's players don't have to take that statement back and I don't expect you to change your way of thinking about the "High School Offense", but y'all can suck PJ's nuts. He's doing this with his players and his best QB taking a RS. Once Vad Lee gets unleashed next year and can actually hit an open receiver this machine will be unstoppable.
Yes Tech will probably lose a couple of games this year, but the PJ train is on the tracks and gaining steam. You better beat him while you have a chance.

29 for 15 & 19 for 17
That is the rushing attempts and yards for Arkansas and Florida in the last two weeks respectfully…
32 total yards on the ground from Florida and Arkansas. Stop and think about that for a second. And don’t give me the ‘they were playing from behind and had to pass’ bullshit. If Arkansas scores on their late 3rd qt drive then they would have been going into the 4th qt only down 10 and this game last night was tied at the end of the 1st. YOU CAN NOT RUN THE BALL AGAINST ALABAMA. and if you can’t run the ball then Saban has you right where he wants you, predictable. You an Upshaw type LB a predictable offense and you have yourself big fucking problems.
I said last week that my only concern for the Tide is the O line… no longer. Florida has as talented front 7 as anybody and Muschump is a hell of a Defensive coach. Trent was running through holes you could drive a truck through and that’s what he looked like when he would make contact with the LB’s and secondary…
Last night was a prefect example of a team coming out in a hyped up hostile environment, The Swamp, at night and get hit with a big play out of the shoot and then get down 10-3 with the place going nuts. What did they do? Just rattled off about 35 unanswered points and send the Gayterd nation running for the gates with 10 minutes left in the game.
If you watched this game then you watched the Best Team in College Football, period.

Picks o the week!!
Dawgs/Miss St Over 53
Arizona +12.5 at USC
Clemson +7 @ Blacksburg
Notre Dame -11.5 @ Purdue
One game just to watch. My theory is when two option teams get together always go with the under. Navy/Air Force O/U 53
I'll make up for the lack of meat and tit tays next week, I promise.
Cod Locks and some tits
My Cod Locks.
I wrote earlier in the Week that I think Alabama is the best team in the Nation and I think they over power a good Florida team – at night – in the Swamp. Bama –3 1/2
I don’t think South Carolina is AS good as some are giving them credit for being but I do believe that Marcus Latimore is the best RB in the SEC and Auburn’s Def is the worst in the SEC (maybe nation – they rank in the bottom 117-120 in just about ever category). Ill take the Game Cocks at home to win by at least 2 TD’s. So Carolina –10
(is this not one of the best South Carolina pictures you have ever seen?)
I watched Middle Tennessee State play last week in Troy and they are a decent football team. They make enough big plays to beat who I think is the worst team in College football, Memphis by at least 4 TD’s / 42-14. MTSU –22 1/2
(not much to choose from on the MTSU pics)
and I know you many of you don’t like NASCAR but we are in the Chase and I wanted to put a checker flag up just to remind you guys that we are coming down the stretch of another great nascar season.
Happy Friday People!
I kind of like the 49ers +9 this weekend also and I’m picking them for my pro pick but it’s not a Cod Lock – still good enough reason to post a good 49er picture.

Alabama
I think Alabama is the best team in the Nation – I think you have to put LSU at #1 in the polls based off games thus far. (@starkville, in Dallas, @MorganTown – all wins) But watching Alabama and Watching LSU, I believe that Alabama is the best team in the Nation and will win the National Title this year.
My only concern with them is the 1st and goal at the 1 against Arky and they couldn’t punch it in with 3 straight running plays. That isn’t Alabama football. Normally, you give Bama the ball inside the 5 and they are going to run the ball behind one of the many 1st round draft pick O-Line men and get 2-3 yards guaranteed. That isn’t the case, at least right now. This could have something to do with the fact that Joe Pendry isn’t in T-town anymore and the guy that took his place has had a couple of distractions (see University of Miami scandal). But I believe that the play action is working so good that it will give the O-line time to mature and get better.
I believe that this is one of the best Defenses we will be able to watch in several years and I am going to take advantage of it. To many times we don’t sit back appreciate a really good thing when we have it and I don’t plan on missing this Alabama Defense. Just watch them. Every man is in the perfect spot. No arm tackles. No missed chances at a interception. I don’t think they have the ‘Coach on the Field’ type guy that they had in Rolando McLain, but I think we will see someone step up more and more as we get deeper into the season.
I do think this weekend in the swamp would be a perfect chance of a team coming off a big home win to slide into the Swamp and let their guard down but I just don’t see this team fucking up.
Alabama will win the rest of their ball games and they will be able to do it even if they only score 17 points.

Ranking the SEC top to bottom
Thought it would be interesting to rank the SEC teams top to bottom without worrying about divisions. So here is my early assessment....
#1 - LSU - I felt from the beginning of the year that LSU should be the number one team in the country. Then all of the Jefferson drama unfolded. But now after 3-4 games have been played, I'm back at the same conclusion.
#2 - Alabama - I now feel as though they are a little better than I felt last week. I still have questions about their offense, but man is that defense and special teams good.
#3 - UGA - I know I will take heat for this, but I am just basing it on what I have seen. Anyone who watched the GA/SC game knows that Georgia beat SC all over the field that night. Even Spurrier said so. I think in the end, UGA will represent the East, however, I do feel there is a sizable drop off from #2 to #3.
#4 - Florida - Muschamp is an animated head coach, I'll give him that. The team is good, with a lot of speed and talent. Brantly just doesn't do it for me though. We'll know more about this team after this Saturday.
#5 - South Carolina - I'm not sure about this team. They have all of the talent in the world on offense, but something is just not clicking. UGA should have beat them, Navy could have beat them. I think they'll lose 3 games this year and wonder what happened. Alshon Jefferey has been pretty much a non factor this season. We'll see if Spurrier can get him going.
#6 - Arkansas - Alabama quieted a lot of people talking about Arkansas' offense Saturday. I think they have a good Cotton Bowl quality team, but that's it. They'll have another tough game Saturday with A&M.
#7 - Tennessee - This team has surprised me a little. Dooley has the offense looking good. I still think they are a few players away. Lane Kiffin really tore this program a new one. Losing Justin Hunter will cost the Vols an extra loss or two throughout the season.
#8 - Mississippi State - Dan Mullen has turned this program back into a winner. I'm surprised Auburn beat them and I think it took some wind from their sails, but by seasons end, they will be bowl eligible which is pretty good playing in the SEC West.
#9 - Auburn - My how the mighty have fallen. No Cam Newton has proved to be more than the Tigers could handle. Most expected this team to fall off but I don't think anyone expected how bad the season started. Yes they got the win in the opener and beat Miss. St. but I think its all downhill from here on out. They'll rebuild and be back as a contender in a couple of years.
#10 - Vanderbilt - Vandy is playing some good ball this year. I don't know much about them but they are playing a good defense and forcing a lot of turnovers. But, its still Vandy and they'll find a way to lose a lot of games.
#11 - Mississippi - Houston Nutt is a lame duck coach at this point. I think his players played a lot harder the last game, but not enough to save Nutt his job. I look for them to beat Fresno State this week, then take a pounding as the SEC West comes calling.
#12 - Kentucky - When's basketball season? That's the million dollar question in Lexington. Joker Phillips may have one more year after this train wreck of a season. Looks like a 3-4 win season for the Wildcats this year.

Gauntlet
@ #10 South Carolina
@#18 Arkansas
vs #12 Florida
@#1 LSU
I love to watch AU play win or lose. I also predicted only 7 wins this year. That being said I can’t imagine how tough these next 4 games will be to watch. I told Joe that going into the year with low expectations makes watching a loss easier, and it does a little, but not as much as I thought. I believe this year is the reason Tubbs got fired, we have only 5 seniors on the entire the team, I also believe this is going to be one bad year and then we will be better and compete for the West the next couple of years. Even though I believe that it does not make it easier. I think if we can win one of these games and our D looks “better” against these teams it is a fulfilled season. I think we can beat Ole Miss, UGA will be a coin toss (as it usually is) if we do this and get better over the next 4 weeks I am happy. I know moral victories are cheap but an obnoxious unrealistic fan is something I have never been and I will not become one now. In summation this is what I love about college football going from basement to the penthouse to win a NC and back down to basement again in less than 12 months. You guys should probably not get to comfy though we only went down to the basement to fix a few things we will be running back up those stairs soon………..
