I was sitting around last night and stumbled across "The Battle of the BIG Apple" which by the way was an awful game. While I was watching and waiting for Mcelroy to get in the game for the Jets, I noticed how terrible the New York Giants defense was playing, and thought to myself man they sure miss LT. With this I thought that LT is the greatest player to play for the Giants and he would help this team tremendously. As I thought this, I started going through each team and thinking of there greatest players of all time, and I came up with my list.

I am sure there will be some disagreement with this list but I think you can argue for every player I have listed.

Blog needs some life

So here you go................

Me

I believe that Alabama is the best football program in all of College sports.  I believe that they have the most tradition and history of any school in College sports and I understand that they have more Championships than anybody else. 

However, When I was a very young boy – I didn’t make a list of every school and how many titles they had.  I didn’t look and see which school would never wear black jerseys.  I didn’t research and find out who the best Coach was to ever coach college football. 

I was born and raised on Athens Street 40 miles from the University of Georgia and that is where my dad took me to ball games.  So when someone starts telling me about how much better Alabama is than Georgia and how much more history and tradition they have… my question is this - ‘who gives a damn?’  Is that why you pull for them?  Did you become a Alabama fan because of the amount of titles they claim?  Did you become a fan of Alabama because of Bear Bryant?  Of was it because you grew up near T-Town, or was it because your Daddy took you to Bama games?  Or was it because you watched a member of your family wear the Crimson Tide Jersey?  And if these are the reasons then you should completely understand why I am who I am and you should feel like a low life dirt bag every time you bring up something comparing the history/tradition of your school to mine.   Because my history with Georgia is sitting in the Auburn section at 12 years old and watching my dad tell an Auburn Fan to, ‘shut the F up!’  My history with Georgia is sitting down at Cedar Creek Hunting Club listening to Larry Munson tell us, ‘The Dawgs need to Hunker Down one more time..’  and watching every grown man, speechless and motionless until Munson spoke again…  My history is in 8th grade being picked up by the Fouch’s and going to the game and tailgating in the players parking lot being the only white kid in the group meeting people like Hines Ward and just being in Awww.  

To me, Things like this – are worth a hell of a lot more than the things you bring up as ‘Reasons your better’  Because I didn’t choose Georgia – Georgia Chose me.  And I thank God for It!

Instead of ranking 1-5 / I want 5 teams that most agree on that are the top 5.  who gives a damn if they are 1 or 5. 

Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, FSU, Virginia Tech, Stanford, Oregon, Wisconsin, TCU, and Boise State. 

that is 10 teams – our top 5 has to come from these 10.  So lets agree on 3 – Alabama, Oklahoma, and LSU or locks. 

now, lets argue the other 2 spots.

I'll be the first to say that I don't really like them. But, if the player's like them, who really cares as long as it is a one game thing. The uniforms aren't pleasing to my eyes, but I kinda dig the helmets.

BSU @ The GA dome: I think this will be a tight one then the Dawgs end up just out manning the Broncos late in the game and pull away, leaving the mouth breathers thinking National Championship.

Cacky Lacky: Ole Ball Coach comes in 'tween the hedges and curb stomps/donkey punches the shit out of the dawgs.

@Ole Miss: Dawgs beat the piss outta nutt.

MSU: Sorry, but Mullen will have them going even harder than last year. Aggies/Dawgs/whatever they are now beat UGA.

@UT: Dooley beats Richt and the Georgia faithful start calling for CMR's head and Dooley to be on the sidelines.

Do stars matter?

I know you SEC guys are all about the star rankings your guys are and where you stand in the rankings on signing day. I will admit I'd love to have a roster full of 5* guys than I would a bunch of 2 *'s. Your probably not going to miss on a lot of 5's and have to coach up the 2's and 3's.

I think it was Pepper the other day that jumped me about my little pecker getting hard over a 3 * QB that was coming to my school. To be honest, I am pretty pumped about my 3 * QB. He's getting a lot of talk about starting this year.

This verbal assault go me to thinking about all the good QB's over the past several years. Let's take a look, and before you bash my balls with "Well Cam Newton was a 5 star what's that tell you?", just look at what these guys accomplished when they weren't thought of that high by a bunch of geeks behind computers. And to answer your question about Cam.....That tells me he should have been fucking good if your a 5 *.

Case McCoy 3* probably going to start over 5 * Garrett Gilbert
Russell Wilson 2* just transfered to Wisky and is my favorite to win it all this year.

To be clear.  The fall is based off the highest point the person ever was to where that person is right now.  Example of someone that had a huge fall but didn’t make the list because of the rebound is Mike Vick.

All Time Hit leader and arguably the greatest baseball player to ever play the game to work 5 hours a day in Vegas signing autographs and being banded from the game..

Clear Cut #1.  Heisman Trophy Winner.  Best Pro Running back in his day.  Movie Star.  to killing a white woman..  No bigger fall from grace than the Juice!

Hunting Story

When I was about 13 years old my Dad, Big Frank,  took me and my buddy Ben shooting guns.  He had taken us down to cedar creek hunting club and we were shooting some .22’a and had a big time!

 

Things started going south on the way home.  We were pulling up to a red light when a black guy pulled up next to us and gave us ‘the finger.’

 

Ben said, ‘did that guy just flip us off?’ That is when Frank started to lose his shit.  He asked, ‘DID HE JUST GIVE US THE FINGER?!? DID HE JUST GIVE US THE FINGER!!!!!’ Ben answered, yea, I think he did’

We were riding in the Izusu Trooper and at this point the black guys were taking a left (see illustration above) and when Frank gets confirmation from Ben that these guys actually did flip us off – then we take a left also, while not in turning lane.  We see the guys take another left into McDonalds.  Frank pulls into the police station.

Two Cops are outside and Frank tells them, ‘you see those guys over there, while pointing at the guys getting out of there car at McDonalds?  They just gave me the finger and I’m going to give them 10 seconds to get their asses out of town or I’m going to hunt them down and kill them!’

 

so then we pull out of the police station and Frank pulls out a pistol and sits it on his lap..  Ben and I are getting fucking scared at this point.

 

Frank continues to scream at these guys and informs them that they have 10 seconds to get out of town or he is going to kill them… when we pull off the guys run to their car and were never to be seen again.

Tech

Pepper and I were discussing Georgia Tech’s triple option and if we thought RO was just being a dedicated fan by trying to justify thinking PJ was the man..

Let me be clear here.  I love PJ.  And I am on the fence on whether Tech NEEDS to run the triple option because it is so much harder for them to get the kind of talent to compete with the FSU’s, Virginia Tech’s etc… 

Tech is with in 2 1/2 hours from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, and South Carolina.  and Tech nerds claim how much more difficult it is to get in the all mighty Georgia Tech than the other schools I mentioned.  That us ‘football schools’ drop our standards to get some of the 5* guys..

So you could make a decent argument that the Triple option is a equalizer for teams that don’t have as much talent as their opponent. 

BUT I would like to ask the whiny little dungeons and dragon loving little dick 22 year old 1600 SAT scoring virgins of Georgia Tech to please watch and listen to this guy.

What was his major?  Civil Engineering?  If Tech can get this guy in school… Then I don’t want to hear the ‘poor me we have higher standards’ talk. 

Is it just me or did Tegro look leaner?

He seemed to look a good bit leaner/lighter than he has been the past couple of years. In my opinion, this is exactly what he needs to do. He got a little too bulky. Anyone that has lifted weights knows that is not the best thing for your game.

He also played a shit ton of cut shots, eliminating the left side of the course and avoiding the dreaded snap/duck hook. I feel your pain there Tegro.

Anyway, if he stays lean/lighter and plays that cut he'll be getting closer to what we remember him as. He still has to do it though.

And one more thing, ain't it great that Adam Scott went out, with Stevie Williams on the bag, and grooved an -8 round.

A man on a mission!!

PJ looks and sounds to be in a better mood this offseason. He still has a gut, but who wouldn't? I really feel my boys are going to do a shit ton better than people think. Bumper to bumper traffic stopped when he crossed the road.

The O line is still a young group(fewest combined starts in the ACC). Potential is high for this group per PJ.

The D is going to be better in yr two under CAG. Young secondary, but as skilled as ever at GT. Remember the name Jeremiah Attaochu. He's a true Soph that is going to wreak havoc LT style, no not raping 16 yr old prostitutes. He along with the other LB's will be the strength of the 3-4.

The DL is what makes the 3-4 work and this is probably the weakest part of the team. We'll just have to see if they can make up for lack of talent with exceptional coaching.

I see my team averaging 32 pts/game and giving up 21 pts/game. 425 yds offense/ game

9-3 record.

I heard today he was a 20-1 to win the tournament. I still think he is a safe bet.

Time for Vegas
